As part of a landmark £1.6 million investment by Rushcliffe Borough Council, the refurbishment of Keyworth Leisure Centre in Nottingham marked a significant step forward in improving community health, wellbeing, and access to modern fitness facilities. KreatiViz was honoured to play a pivotal role in this transformation by delivering high-end architectural visualisation services that brought the design vision to life before a single brick was laid.
Our studio was commissioned by JRD Design and Build to create a full suite of photorealistic 3D architectural renderings that showcased the upgraded spaces, from the dynamic new reception and social lounge to the revitalised pool, gym, and changing areas. These visuals were not just illustrations, but powerful communication tools that helped architects, council members, and the wider public clearly understand the proposed upgrades. By transforming technical plans into engaging, immersive imagery, KreatiViz enabled more informed decision-making, smoother planning approvals, and stronger community support during the pre-construction phase.
The project reflects how expertly produced 3D visualisations can improve every stage of architectural development, especially for public sector works where transparency, trust, and clarity are key. Interior CGI That Tells a Human Story
We paid close attention to flow and function. In the café and social zones, open seating and visual transparency create a strong sense of connection with the pool, encouraging interaction and inclusivity. The pool environment itself was rendered to show clearer lighting, improved spatial organisation, and accessible facilities. In the gym, state-of-the-art equipment layouts and dynamic lighting helped visualise a more energising and motivating fitness experience.

Our Approach
Every CGI we produce is meticulously calibrated to match real-world camera positions, lens data, and lighting conditions. For this project, we conducted an on-site photography session to capture base imagery under consistent lighting. We then modelled the development in 3D, ensuring the architecture’s dimensions and positioning matched architectural drawings. Finally, we composited and retouched the images to ensure a cohesive and lifelike result that blends naturally into the existing streetscape.
Visual Assets Designed For Versatility & Reach
Each visual was developed in ultra-high resolution, with dynamic lighting setups and multiple angles to give viewers a complete sense of each space’s scale and design intent.
With great pleasure, our CGI work for Keyworth Leisure Centre was developed for high impact across multiple communication channels. We delivered each image in presentation ready formats suitable for planning submissions and reports, council websites and local news portals, social media posts and public consultation displays, internal stakeholder decks and update bulletins.
